ABOUT THIS EPISODE
- Dr. David Sinclair: Author of Lifespan
In this episode, I have the pleasure to interview Dr. David Sinclair.
David is a professor in the Department of Genetics at Harvard Medical School. Time magazine has named him one of the 100 most influential people in the world and among the top 50 people in healthcare. He and his colleagues study sirtuins – protein-modifying enzymes that respond to changing NAD+ levels and to caloric restriction – as well as other subjects like learning, memory, neurodegeneration, cancer and cellular reprogramming.
Our conversation today is all about his book Lifespan: Why We Age – and Why We Don’t Have To. David believes that aging is a disease and that we may soon have the tools to put it into remission. This has been one of my favorite conversations to date.
Please enjoy this amazing conversation with Dr. David Sinclair.
